"These cups are hand-built from cast sheets of handmade paper. They come in two different styles derivitave of traditional ceramic aestheitics. The ‘Jasperware’ version emulates Wedgewood’s iconic range using stained dyed paper and embossed relief details in white. And the Dutch classic ‘Blue Delft’ is alluded to in hand drawn decals in blue biro."

Maison Martin Margiela at Sommerset House. Not has good as I had expected it to be but beautiful presentation and nice installations. They definitely know how to work with different shades of white and monochrome to create different textures. I really like the idea of presenting the items behind transparent perspex boxes on different height plinths and hanging the clothes on printed models.

Beautiful to see and touch Wasara dinning set for the first time at Maison Objets.
Apparently they are used in very fine restaurants by Michelin star chefs.
Made out of paper they can support food up to 2-3 hours before softening and decomposing.
